And what a whopper....June 25, 1876.

On this day 137 years ago, five companies of the U.S. 7th Cavalry Regiment were annihilated by a combined force of Lakota and Sioux warriors. In all the wars between the white man and the native tribes, no battle was so complete and so terrifying as the Little Bighorn. It was the Cannae of the Old West.

Rather than type it out, here is the best documentary to date on the battle. In my opinion, it is the most accurate depiction of Custer.
