as does the white truck driver. Watch the first 3 minutes and comment. Stop watching, think about you in that situation and was it a good response. Turn your volume up so you can hear what got recorded. Thats Important.
Restart watching and stop when he hangs up from the cops. Think about everything to that point and comment.
Do that before you watch the remainder.

This is one of the better ones I have seen, and a situation any of us here could find ourselves in something similar.

I did not see a knife that the shooter claimed the victim had.
The shooter was on his property.
The shooter claimed that the victim had a knife. I never saw it from my vantage point.
The shooter was openly carrying a handgun. Should have been a warning to the victim.
The shooter shot the victim retreating in the back. Again someone running from you is not posing a threat.
The shooter had ample time to retreat when the victim was running away from him.
All n' all it looks like a bad situation go worse. I suspect the shooter will get manslaughter with intent.

Retreating is not a threat unless that person is going to get a weapon after stating he would kill the guy
Depending on the state and local regs, the shooter is under NO obligation to retreat
That being said it looks to me like the shooter was looking for a fight and found it

My take is that this is murder 1. No justification seen. Victim shot in the back several times. Hang the bastard

Looks like a bad shoot for the reasons posted above, even before I read them. If the shooter jad fire while the intruder was advancing in the shooter on his own property ABD especially AFTER ordering the trespasser to leave, it would have been a much cleaner shoot.
