Title: easy ways to make money for nothing
Post by: NOLA556 on February 17, 2013, 06:30:56 PM
so I only have one thing to contribute to kick the topic off.

I've been running my reloading press alot these days and I was at a gunshop looking for components yesterday...  [img]http://www.arrse.co.uk/at

well anyway, there's raw range brass for sale for $30-40 per 500... it costs $6 to get into the range that I go to and almost no one around here reloads, so no one picks up their brass...

see where I'm going?

I'm always picking my and other people's shot up. Everyone I know just leaves their shit all over the place. I still don't have a bench. That doesn't stop me from having 1k plus 5.56 eight hundred plus 9 and five hundred plus 45.

I started doing that few weeks ago and lets just say there firing gold. Now because the winters here in Idaho are a bitch I haven't been going to the range lately. Ofcourse I'm going shooting tomorrow and find me some brass gold.  [URL=http://www.smileyvault.co

I only know of one gun range an hour away. Can someone fill me in on gun range ettiquite? Do I just stand in the back with a paper walmart sack picking up people's shot brass as they leave?

I always ask prior.

" Howdy, sir/ma'am are you collecting your brass? "
yes. Ok thank you for your time.
no. Do you mind if I ? "

You will also want to ask the range boss, some gun clubs police the brass and sell it themselves to as a way to increase revenue.

Ive posted it elsewhere but it will work here too.

The Reloading Song (I Don't Reload) (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hk0wGmVvI2Y#ws)

I started reloading for 12 gauge...well...im trying... shots impossible to find... im just going to order a cast and pour my own shot. Theres almost no cost benefit from loading your own Shotgun shells. The only reason im doing it is to have access to the load i want when i want it. Instead of having a rainbow of different loads in my stocks. Because i cant find the same load for sale twice over any length of time. I find one that patterns well, then a month or two later i look to buy another case and its gone for ever. With reloading i can order components and make the same load again and again aslong as i have all 5 components required.

Once you have handled spent casing's WASH YOUR HANDS! NEVER pick up spent brass and use your hat to hold your brass!

Spent brass has lead particals on it from your primer.

Just saying...
