Title: Catastrophe Timeline
Post by: JohnyMac on April 24, 2019, 12:35:33 PM
At times the hair on the back of my neck sticks out. No it's not poor hygiene but an emanate concern. Due in part to all that is happening domestically and around the globe I have that feeling.

I did a little archives search and I came up with this (http://unchainedpreppers.com/forum/general-discussion/catastophe-timeline-(very-long-post)/msg48708/#msg48708) past subject line. I am re-posting it to get some feedback from the group.

People as individuals are smart. People as a group are idiots. I have watched the meltdown of our Country and even the world over the last 30 years. Its like a snowball rolling down hill. It just keeps getting worse and there is no stopping it. All we can do is prepare and wait for disaster. The people who refuse to prepare are going to get screwed first and the prepared are going to get screwed last. I prefer last. I don't see one kind of disaster coming, I expect many happening at the same time. I'm preparing for all and hoping for none.

i work in a pretty button down office.  twice this week, someone has used the word 'bug out bag' in a sentence.
if nothing else, people's opinions and awareness are changing.

Back when we lived away from the redoubt we had a Threat Level flow chart. It is a bit dated but I will still share if you wanted to use the format. Why reinvent the wheel.   ;)

Johny, thanks for the chart!  My gut feeling is that something is going to happen soon.  There's just too much going on, between the U.S. government kabuki theater, to the bombings in Sri Lanka, to the unrest in the Middle East.  It just feels like something is going to pop.  It must be similar to the lead up of WWI.

I don't think there will be much beginning here going on here for the next 14 to 18 months.  Maybe some bombings and that type but nothing homegrown of major significance until campaign/election time next year.  Anything starting overseas from a muslim terror group will do nothing on the political side except put stronger cement on Trump's re-election.

I anticipate just after the upcoming presidential election is when the homegrown problems will start.  As in the day or so after the election. Either that or just after Thanksgiving next year when the shopping season is ongoing.  Get all yours done before Halloween.

It may hold off until spring 2021 but I suspect the campaign season pre-election will do some serious building of Trump's support based on anti-Trump protesting at his campaign stops.  Should (and make sure he is) he be re-elected I think the Anti folks will just go crazy on the idea of another 4 years of him and the judicial appointments.

Keep your friends close and your rifle closer.

I think the terrorist groups like antiFA, black lives matter and the new black panthers will start a campaign to intimidate voters especially the elderly to stay home.
Remember Philadelphia where voters were scared away by a group with clubs.
