Ran across this article on FB. In short, a battalion commander lectures to officers and Non coms that they need to drive Obama's agenda with the troops in their charge. Some examples are:
> Agenda 21
> Disarming citizens
> Tea Party or other patriot groups are a hindrance to the countries growth,
> Etc.
A combat battalion commander assigned to the 101st Air Borne Division (Air Assault) at Fort Campbell, Kentucky, sent an email out to several dozen subordinate officers and senior noncommissioned officers describing conservatives as members of hate groups.
The senior officer, seen in the YouTube below, apparently decided that his ignorant soldiers needed some political indoctrination regarding the Army?s new values, as decreed by Obama.
So, using the infamous Southern Poverty Law Center as a guide, the lieutenant colonel set out to educate.
Using the subject line of ?Domestic Hate Groups,? LTC Jack Rich warned his subordinate leaders that...

So our forum members who are still in the military - Have you heard this kind of thing before?

Can y'all say "night of the long knives?"
On a side note, that reminds me that my maternal grandfather (died long before I was born) AND one of my cousins bare a spooky resemblance to Heinrich Himmler.

Time for a OH SHIT alert :o

That officer should be immediately relieved of command for crimes against America and breaking his oath to the US Constitution. It's ashame a schmuck like that is in the 101st, a unit with an excellent combat record, proud history, and esprit de corps.

If I could figure out his email address I would send him a email.
-
What proof is there that he actually wrote this? And the date of this whole 'incident' is from last year. Any update since?
-
Yeah I noticed it was from 2012 which is hwy I was asking active duty folks if they had heard anything. I have learned my lesson over the years to look for confirmation. If I could figure out his email address I would send him an email asking for his input.

The actions of career officers to "go along to get along" with whatever administration happens to be in the white house, in spike of their oaths, is nothing new. Just look at the action of military icons who took part in violently putting down the bonus marchers after WW1.
Thankfully, for this particular LC to feel that he had to issue this commentary. The rank and file must look at things a little differently than those in high rank who are willing to bend over and grab their ankles in order to insure their precious careers. Oath and constitution be damned.
