We were fortunate here in my AO.  Some wind, light rain all day up until bedtime (2200 hrs).  No dmg, pwr and phones intact at our place.

Central FL got pounded on.  Not much disaster footage yet.  But it will be along.

For me, Helene was worse.  Unfortunately not for others.  3.3 million without electric pwr so far.

Just got off our contingency CW sked ( Cooter and I ) and he relayed his good status report  via QRP CW as a contingency back-up.  Good signal for a small, battery radio and a dipole.  Now time for breakfast.

"NO STORM DMG X PWR AND PHONE
INTACT X FAMILY CONTACTED X ALL IS WELL ..."

Thx Cooter and Sir John for the update.

It is pretty gnarly in West NC. Some areas are A-OK while others it is a total disaster.
