Title: Foam Armor

1 inch stops 30 cal round.

Weighs 35% of current armor. 

More heat resistant. 

Heavier plate turns armor piercing rounds to dust.

Someone better develop phasers dayum soon.

not quite an energy weapon - still a kinetic, ballistic projectile but getting there...
