According to the video comments, the batteries are sold out, and are not currently available from any source.  I would caution folks to be informed regarding lithium battery chemistry.  Some batteries are safer than others.  For example, the ham club I belong to in Tennessee recently had a lithium battery in the Secretary's laptop catch on fire, which destroyed the laptop, but was caught in time before it did more damage to the member's home.

At our home in Tennessee I've gone with Renogy Lithium-Iron Phosphate batteries for our solar electric system, which are stable and should be reasonably safe.   I wanted batteries that needed little maintenance, were reliable for the long term, and were relatively light weight.  The batteries are expensive ($900 each) but I believe they will outlive me.  I considered both Renogy and Battle Born lithium batteries, but the Renogy batteries were a little cheaper and they had a good warranty and I've had good luck with Renogy products in the past.

I'll still have some deep cycle lead acid batteries for either our greenhouse/chicken coop, or for a water pump, but it'll be a separate solar electric system.  The lead acid batteries do require periodic maintenance.

In the comments section one comment was that some hospital maintenance departments sell their batteries.

Lithium chemistry batteries have an incredibly long lifespan, so the used batteries may be worth it.  It's important to remember that lithium batteries require a different charger than lead acid or NiMH batteries. If a non lithium type battery charger is used with lithium batteries, it may have dangerous consequences.  I don't think I'd buy any used batteries, of any chemistry type, except maybe forklift lead acid batteries.  You just don't know the charging history of the battery, and if that battery was mistreated, it'll have a much shorter lifespan.  Sometimes you have to bite the bullet, and buy new, especially when batteries are a major expense, and a core piece of a solar electric system.

most LiFe batteries of respectable manufacture include integrated an Battery Management System that prevents over charging and over discharging. So again most respectable charging systems will have no problem providing proper charging voltage and current, even without a specific setting for Lithium batteries. Of course most made in the last half dozen years will have a setting for Lithium, and that would be a preferred setting.
Of more concern when using LiFe batteries is their intolerence for low temperatures. Better batteries will also have a low temperature disconnect as part of their BMS, however there are also those who rely on the consumer to observer the low temperature limits and have no internal protection...

Indeed the LiPo technology used in higher energy storage applications such as laptop batteries have much tighter parameters for charging and discharging, and are the source of many 'thermal events'

If you want really long lived batteries look into Nickel/iron batteries. The originals made by Edison still work over 100 years later.

Unless you are interested in energy density and maintenance...

I feel its pertinent to the topic but if not welcome to remove.

Here in our lovely country called Southern Africa we have yet another lovely issue regarding these and other batteries used for Solar systems.

Want to know why?
Theft has absolutely gone through the roof, quite literally.

See links, and yes most of the batteries at these stations are then sold off after they were stolen.

needless to say our cellphone and network coverage's have gone to shit lately thanks to these thieves and vandals.
oh and cell c got split for being bad debtors.

no idea how long this is going to drag on.

Just another day in paradise folks.

Dang, thought it was going to be about lithium batteries for devices.  I like the Energizer Ultimate Lithium batteries, had really good luck with them so far.  20 year shelf life & no leaking makes them ideal for prepping IMO.  They aren't cheap but are worth the cost, that said I would like to be able to source them for less if possible.

AA's are a bit over a buck each.  https://www.amazon.com/dp/B071D87WPV

AAA's generally about the same. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06ZYWKBRB  Unless I buy 100 of them.  https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01I5TXGRQ  Then the price goes down to a little under $1ea.  I may pull the trigger on a deal like that someday.  I'd actually be more inclined to buy a bulk deal if I could find it on the CR123's which are almost $2ea.

I haven't been able to find the coin batteries or any other sizes in the Energizer Info Lithium, there are lithium batteries available in those sizes, but the D's are REALLY pricey.  I'd like to get them for my MagLite's though.  Anyone have a cheap source for either D cell lithiums or the Energizer Info Lithium's.  Group buy?   :-\
