Wish it was that easy in my state/county. You have to get a "buyers permit" from the sheriff. In my county 3 "police officers" have to sign off on you owning a pistol.

I didn't know NC had laws like that. So much for ever living in that state. How do gun shops there stay open? A buyers permit, oh man.

Yeah NC is weird. It all varies on what county you live in. Mine you need a Buyers permit. You need a permit to Buy, not to own a pistol and there is no gun registration.. So If you acquire one privately around here no big deal.
